Like many others, our family has a number of Christmas morning traditions, such as our amazing sausage rolls. I make these unbelievably delicious sausage rolls once a year, on Christmas morning. They are SO bad for you, but SO good! I promise, you won’t be disappointed. Be sure to let me know if you try them.
INGREDIENTS:
1 pack of ground Jimmy Dean’s Sausage (can substitute turkey sausage too)
1 pack of Jimmy Dean’s Hot sausage- (we sub turkey here too if I can find it hot)
2 packages of cream cheese
½ tsp. garlic salt
2 8oz packages of crescent rolls
INSTRUCTIONS:
Lay out the squares of the crescent rolls on parchment paper. Brown both packages of sausage together. Once browned, drain the grease. Then add in both packages of cream cheese. I add a little pinch of garlic salt as well. Once everything has melted together, take a spoon full and put it in the middle of each of the crescent roll squares. Then roll up each one to make a normal crescent roll with this in the middle. Repeat. Bake according to the instructions on the crescent roll packaging. Let cool, serve and enjoy!
