Revive Spa at JW Marriott Desert Ridge
For those of us who live up here in Desert Ridge, this one is almost too easy to love. Revive Spa has 41 treatment rooms, relaxation rooms with fireplaces and private patios, a sauna, and a steam room. This summer they are running a special on massages and facials, and Travelzoo has a deal for $169 that includes a 50-minute treatment plus full spa amenity access, valid through August 31. Book a treatment, order something light from the bistro, pour a glass of champagne, and let the afternoon be exactly what it needs to be.
Sanctuary Spa at Sanctuary Camelback Mountain
This one holds a very special place for me. The spa sits within 53 acres of desert and features twelve indoor and outdoor treatment rooms, a Zen meditation garden, and a co-ed quiet room. The Asian-inspired head massage is a must-try. There is also a private stone-walled outdoor treatment room called the Sanctum. I highly recommend requesting a massage out there. Right now, they are offering 15% off one 60-minute treatment, or 20% off two or more on the same day, valid Sunday through Thursday through September 30.
Joya Spa at Omni Scottsdale Resort at Montelucia
Joya is an Andalusian-inspired spa with 20 treatment rooms, a private rooftop pool, and views of Camelback Mountain. The Hammam sets it apart, with a Himalayan salt sauna and a full thermal sequence. Arrive early, spend real time in the Hammam before your treatment, have lunch on the terrace, and then move to the rooftop pool. Worth doing properly at least once a year.

One of the newer additions to the Phoenix luxury scene and already earning its place on any shortlist. The treatments are well-curated, the atmosphere is calm, and the experience sits at a level you would expect from a property that has quickly become one of the most talked-about in the city.
Thai Balinese Massage and Spa, Scottsdale
Not every reset needs to be a full resort day. Thai Balinese on East Shea has over 4,000 reviews and offers traditional Thai, deep tissue, Swedish, and couples massage in a well-run, unpretentious setting. The price point is its own treat. This is the one you text a friend about on a Tuesday and end up going together by Thursday.
